Third Party Insurance is generally for vicious dogs. Few policies often will provide coverage for cats; however, the policy is rare, since cats often pose no threats. The third party will provide liability coverage to owners whose animal has caused harm, either by biting or damaging property. The damage or injures will include coverage for animal attack on other animals. Thus, pet coverage is the standard coverage allotted to pet owners, while third party is a secondary coverage to owners of aggressive dogs.
